Background: had a lumpectomy with 11 lymph nodes removed 6/24 and 20 rounds of whole breast radiation 8/24.
Since then I’ve been dealing with shoulder tightness and pain, as well as elbow and hand all on the affected side, often just a feeling of soreness or a dull ache.
Went to physical therapy for a while which helped the sharp shoulder pain but nothing was ever really pinpointed as being wrong (shoulder x ray came out fine)
Massage therapist who was trained in lymphatic massage said a few lymph nodes were blocked but so far, oncologist has been pretty dismissive of lymphadema.
So TL;DR- has anyone dealt with ongoing pain and tightness on the affected side long term? Is this normal/expected? If not, anyone have any leads for me? Maybe frozen shoulder? (Also on AI and zoladex)
