Which students are considered first-generation?

My dad dropped out of school in 11th grade, and my mom does have a three-year degree. So do I qualify for first generation as none of my parents do have a four-year degree?

Can I Get a 5/4/5 on Essays in 6 hours 12 mins?!?!?! (Starting from scratch)

Okay, y'all, I'm an international student, not a teacher, just started self-studying.

Last wrote - 1.5 years ago (got a 5/8, btw).

I haven't started the essays yet. I have no template and no prior knowledge. I'm going to start now. I have six hours to master all three. Is it possible for me to get five on the synthesis essay, four on the rhetorical essay, and five on the argumentative essay? Is this a realistic goal? I have the templates. I'll learn them and maybe some vocabulary and rhetorical devices to use. Is that realistic?

I skipped 4 frqs (Calc BC) 😭and not sure much about the other 2

I don't know. He did me just leave 4 FRQs because I got blank at the test center. Can I at least get a 4 if I'm expecting around 33 MCQs? Correct. I'm not sure. I'm not sure at all, because MCQs were, I don't know, but the FRQs are messed up brutally.

  • The first FRQ: I solved 3 parts correctly. The 3rd part I did not solve entirely, but I just wrote the formula they had already given. I think they wanted the entire answer, because they had itself given how you need to get the answer, and I just failed how I had to get it, so I am cooked, I guess. I get only 2 right on that. The second one is skipped entirely. The 3rd one I think I solved correctly, but I messed up the first two and left 1 or 2 in that, like 2 parts in that. The 3rd part I solved totally, but I don't know if they are right or wrong, but I am expecting they are correct. The fourth one I skipped. The 5th one I wrote half, and then I realized I just didn't know how to work it out later.

What do you think? Can I at least pull a 4?

Is there a way out? Can I truly prevail?

Hello all, I know this may look like a very generic post asking "How do I get a 5?" but that is not the case. I haven't started prepping yet. I'm an international student self-studying, and I haven't started yet because I started all these APs late. I have to cram APs like Calculus BC, AP Computer Science, and all, so I have been cramming these subjects in the past two weeks. I am left with AP Lang. As there are four days for AP Lang, I'm very confused about what to do.

As far as I've read on this subreddit, it is that I should practice MCQs and look at how the essays go. I'm not very good at MCQs. Is there any way I can improve Qwik? I need strategies to improve Qwik. Hope you all will help. Thank you.

As an Intl, Can i do DE and Honors classes (Not APs)?

I am really interested in taking college math classes. I did do prior research and came to know that:

  1. One is Arizona State University's online learner, which provides courses for $425 and gets three credits.
  2. One is Stanford ULO pre-collegiate courses, which has a deadline of 11th May and the fee for that course is $1,595 per course.

As I am coming from a not-so-good financial background, I do want to take the classes, but these are just out of my budget. Is there any other way in which I can take the classes and also provide proof that I have taken these classes and secured grades?

Failed Narrative for college applications, please help.

So the thing is, I would be applying for fall 2027, and there are two major problems:

  1. One is that I would be publishing six papers in total. One was in December 2025, and the next five papers are in the duration of June 2026 to September 2026. I would be presenting them at that time. Is this a massive red flag? I never knew this would be a red flag. I worked on these simultaneously from the start, or maybe previously I never had the thought that publishing all these at the same time would be a big headache or would fail my narrative in college applications. Now I'm getting reviews such as "this is bad," but these are not predatory journals. They are core A-ranked conferences in my field, not journals. I'm getting reviews such as "this is bad," but these are not predatory journals. They are core A-ranked conferences in my field, not journals.
  2. The second problem is that, out of these six papers in total, five have the same research domain, but the other one is way different from all of these five. Actually, two of them are different. Is it a problem? If it is, how much is it, and is there any way I can fix it? I haven't submitted those papers yet, but I got those reviewed by professors and all.
