English Killed Their Sound
I’ve never posted on this sub and probably won’t ever again but I have to get this off my chest:
One Ok Rock stopped being good as soon as they started marketing towards the Americans/English speakers.
I was a fan in middle school/High school (2014-2017ish) so 35xxxv had just came out and I thought it was good, but it had NOTHING on their other projects (justice for crazy botch!). Every album after 35xxxv (ngl most songs on that album too) just sounds like Fueled by Ramen slop.
I know I may sound like a weeaboo, idrc. Their music in Japanese just had so much more flare and feeling. It feels like Taka is just singing words instead of actually performing/feeling the song.
(Sorry if this opinion has already been posted. I was thinking about bands I used to like when I was younger, decided to give their more recent music a listen and was completely disappointed.)
