I wanted to share the beautiful Hungarian covers for Qiang Jin Jiu (Volumes 1 & 2) released back in 2025. The artwork by m00n is absolutely stunning and I think the team at Vad Virágok Kiadó did such a great job with the publication! Sorry if these have been shared before, but I just wanted to showcase them. What do you guys think of these covers?
Okay, I’m officially calling it: I’ve survived my "messy, morally grey, toxic character" reading era, and I’m ready to embrace the light. I’m looking for the most disgustingly cute, fluffy, sugary, almost unrealistically sweet books you’ve got, I need some "pure love" for my soul.
I’m talking 1v1, pure 'first and only' love. No white moonlight, no messy exes, zero unnecessary drama, I just want zero emotional baggage! I’m totally done with "I can fix him" or "he’s a villain but I love him" nonsense. I’m craving a story where everything is just sunshine, rainbows and sparkles.
I know, I know...Disney exists for that, but I need something a bit more substantial than a cartoon, hahaaa. I’m a "go big or go home" kind of person and after reading so much grit, I’m ready for some pure, innocent, happy-ending romance.
Please, give me your best sugar-coated, diabetes-inducing recommendations! My cynical heart is ready to be corrupted by wholesomeness. Thanks in advance! 😃
P.S. TGCF really set the bar for me! Even though it’s not just pure sunshine due to the past tragedies, that kind of emotional depth and the devotion between the leads is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m craving that level of pure, 1v1 dedication....
Hi everyone! I’m currently re-reading Qiang Jin Jiu because it’s finally being published in my native language (Hungarian).
It’s been ages since I first read it, and back then I only had access to a very rough translation, so some details are a bit hazy for me now. I seem to recall a Xiang-Yun subplot involving a past romance, but my memory is failing me, what was the deal with XC’s relationship with her? I’m really curious about when exactly that revelation happens in the chapters.
Huge apologies if I’m mixing this up with another story, though! I’m a commuter, so I read way too many novels, and sometimes they all start blurring together in my brain. 😄
