Picked up $MU on a "follow through day" entry. O'Neil FTD entry. He says it doesn't matter, force yourself to put around 50% into some things. This was a half position and I got a few more small ones that day to fill up what turned out to be only like 15% of my max power. But I did ok calling the bottom with that FTD and having the conviction to allocate. Rewarded well for my effort. I may convert to a freeroll (keep profits as shares, take back the rest) from here. Because it has gone parabolic. That's usually the point where it tops.

When growth starts really happening, analysts are too slow to catch up with estimates. They can't wildly overshoot with crazy estimates or they'll be out of work fast. They need to protect client's capital by making conservative sensible estimates. And then suddenly you may start seeing earnings "surprises".

Surprises are a sign that growth is happening and it always runs faster than analysts can predict/project catch-up with.

Yesterday GOOGL, AMZN, META, MSFT all came in roughly around expectations. No big surprises. No big misses really.

Keep an eye on earnings and watch for surprises. They can be an early tipoff that the markets may be about to take off.

SIF had it all this morning for entry.

- A recent "power play" / "holy grail" mover of over 150%
- Tight base pullback of -20% from "power play" high
- Tightening VCP action
- compression at the 50ma
- $16 line of least resistance "pivotal point" right nearby

I was able to get initial speculative entry at $14.913 with stop at $14. However, as it moved in my favor nearing +1R, I realized that if I added it would raise my -1R point. So I did the calculus and found I could add about 85% higher, at 15.68, thereby making the LOD the new -1R stop which only really makes sense whenever there is a "lightning" bar (also called an ignition bar or catalyst bar) which the bar had become.

So here I am sitting on nearly a 2X position with a -1R stop still set (at LOD).

This is a case study of perfect entry and adding into your entry.
