My NIPT came back on 5/9 for positive T21 with 95.5% PPV and 13% FF. I’m currently 11 weeks and I was referred to an MFM but they can’t see me for another 2 weeks, 5/26, which feels really far. They said they can do CVS at that appointment but waiting that long to just confirm feels really hard. How long were your waits to see MFM after NIPT results? Is this normal? TIA!

This is my first pregnancy after vanishing twins + a miscarriage of the surviving twin at 11 weeks in 2024. I am currently 11 weeks and took my NIPT at 10w0d. I have a PPV for T21 of 95.5% and FF of 13.10%. I’m wondering if that number feels high for 10 weeks? I know it’s in the normal range and the likelihood of a second set of vanishing twins is behind rare but just curious about that number.
Found out the results yesterday (Saturday) so hope to hear from doctor this week for next steps/testing. Thank you!
