Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy a pair of Salomon XA Pro 3D V9 (non-GoreTex version) for daily use. My job involves being out for about 10-12 hours a day, with a mix of sitting and walking.
My standard shoe size is EU 40.
I’ve heard that Salomon tends to run narrow and stiff. Given that I’ll be wearing them for long shifts and my feet might swell a bit by the end of the day, should I:
- Stick with my true size (EU 40)?
- Go half a size up (EU 40 2/3)?
I want to avoid my toes hitting the hard rubber toe cap, but I also don't want them to be too loose for city walking. Any advice from long-time XA Pro users would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
