If an infant (like before a baby stops breastfeeding since that would complicate things) were to be in the apocalypse, how would they survive and would other survivors be able to accommodate them?

For an older baby (that has stopped breastfeeding so it can reasonably survive on its own /s), how would you to stop crying and taking care of a small human during an apocalypse?

Terrible twos and toddlerhood would definitely be hard since you have to teach them about survival while also trying to teach them basic things?

Would an older child still have access to some form an education system (reading, writing, etc) or if society rebuilds, would there be a new one?
