I'm from Indore and I've been trying to earn some part-time money by teaching online (Class 6-10, mainly Biology, English, and Social Science).
I thought it would be straightforward ; made profiles on UrbanPro, TeacherOn, and a few others, added whatever details I could, but it's been weeks and literally zero inquiries.
I'm not looking for sympathy or anything dramatic. Just genuinely trying to figure this out. I know a lot of you (or your siblings/cousins) are in school or know parents who need tutors. I can explain concepts clearly, focus on basics + exam-oriented prep, and I'm comfortable with CBSE/MP Board.
Tried the usual stuff:
Optimized profiles
Offered free demos
Posted in some local groups
Still nothing. Feels like everyone is shouting into the same void.
If anyone has:
Actual tips that worked for them (what actually gets students?)
Leads for students in these subjects
Or knows someone looking for a chill, patient tutor
