I own a coop in Manhattan which I have sublet. It’s a one year lease with the option to renew. I’ve lost my job and am currently homeless. Staying with friends in the interim but not a good long term position. I gave 60 days notice to my tenants that I will not renew the lease because I need to move into my home.

They have refused to surrender the premises. I know if I go to housing court I will prevail in an eviction, how ever that could take months to get a judgement. Any advice from the community on how to convince them to leave at the end of the lease term.
