I'm a non US-IMG and I'm in my 3rd year of medical school. My application status with ECFMG is as shown in the picture.

I have already paid the fee and the status shows ‘Account Established’.

I called the helpline and they told me that my account has been established and when I asked them what to do next, they said at this point they won’t be verifying any credentials from my uni since I haven’t graduated yet per se.

So they just asked me to go to FSMB and create my account and then directly apply for Step1.

Is that how it works? What should I do next ? I’m very confused and don’t really have proper guidance so I’d really appreciate the help.
