Hi! I'm a beginner in jewelry making and currently using the lost wax casting method. I'm wondering whether it would be okay to use dental wax (ortho wax - the clear one which is really soft and the pink wax sheets wich are a bit firmer) to make the jewelry? Moreover, would it be okay to combine the dental wax with blue wax? For example, can I make the ring in blue wax and then use the pink or clear wax to add the ornaments?

For context, I want to make a floral ring and the petals would be more realistic and much easier to form with the soft wax.

I'd really appreciate any advice!
