Fellow 68w: how do you get a spot in the clinic
Joined the army, been a line medic for a year, love the line but it fucked my knee up, bad. They move me back to the aid station where career and competency go to die, and I have been pushing to go to the base hospital as a clinic medic, but so far nobody is helping me. Senior nco keeps making promise but not delivering and even tell me there is no plan for that (this despite multiple clinic medics are leaving the unit on ets or pcs), the commander knows nothing, the psg is brand new, the ncos are too busy to care.
And I am not a shitbag medic. Not to gloat, but I performed well on the line. Not the most high speed medic, but I am competent enough. I think I can learn the most and make the greatest impact at the clinic but so far nobody is helping me.
So my question is: 68w who found a clinic position, how did u manage to do it?
