My mother (50s) and I (20s) are looking to go on a mother daughter trip together in June. We are seasoned travelers and are on the east coast of the US but are looking to get out of the country. This is the first trip we’re doing alone as we usually travel with other family members.
Am looking for any suggestions, I was considering Portugal, London or Spain but am open to any ideas. We are big foodies, love to shop, love the sun/beach, not big drinkers, but can appreciate a fun time, especially if it means getting a cultural experience.
What would be fitting European summer destinations? Would be open to places outside of Europe, this is just where our heads are at for now. The trip would probably be no more than a week, but would consider extending based on the location.
