I’ve just never been able to understand why it would affect Miles. He’s an anomaly. His Gwen Stacy isn’t from his own universe. Even the spider that bit him isn’t from his own universe. He’s completely unpredictable. Yes, his uncle died. But does that tell us much?
His father died in the universe the spider is from. I feel like that’s enough?
