I’m looking to exclude people from a large area behind a fenced property. It’s not nice, it’s not ideal, they could camp there all they like, but the fence has been damaged 3 times in the last 6 months and there’s a fair chance of intrusion onto the property itself.
The options currently are, obnoxious security lights, obnoxious security lights for a while AND some mean plants, or appropriate housing and services for those in need… so let’s go for choice #2 right now.
Perth area, decent sandy loam, varying from shaded to full sun. My current thought is parrot bush but any options from any area will be considered. I need nasty spikey, hateful plants that have a significant ecological benefit.
