I see this question about diarrhea asked a lot so I know it's not me.

I started this journey on Wegovy, had limited success, but success nevertheless. Then insurance dropped it (2023)

Went to compound semaglutide for a while until the clinic recommended, switching to tirzepatide. Tirzepatide was definitely far more effective for me, worked my way up to max does and dropped 7.5 for maintenance after loosing 50+ lbs. I'm pretty happy at 235-240 6'3".

The clinic closes in early 2025, so I do my reading and make the switch to grey and Reta.

Both Sema & Tirz caused constipation if not being mindful of diet, water, fiber. Reta has the exact opposite issue anytime the dose is upped or starting it.

I experienced major libido death and titrated down and off, took 3 months off and titrated back on to see if I could reach a balance between the benefits and drawbacks. Each time, noticeable loose stools as I started or changed the dose. This would last about 7-10 days.

So what is the mechanism that causes this as compared to the other two major GLPs?
