4 weeks into my first barista job! oat milk latte art :P

for the first 3 weeks i could not figure out how to get the texture right to create latte art but i finally got it this week! one of my issues now is that my art keeps going way off to the side but that's probably my positioning lol.

did this with oat milk which made me pretty proud!! i saw someone say if you shake the oat milk up really well it helps with texture and that has dramatically reduced the difficulty with steaming oat milk lol

at home espresso machine recs??

does anyone know a good at home espresso machine that is relatively affordable? i'm wanting to practice making coffee at home cause i'm a new barista and i'm having so much fun learning how to make drinks (i also want to practice steaming milk bc it is difficult to get down😭).

i'm not looking for anything fancy! just something that will pull shots and steam milk :)

i just got my first barista job a couple weeks ago and i'm just curious how tips look at other shops! so far i've made between $45-$65 each day while working closing shifts. the highest i've seen so far was $89 in tips for each of the openers over the weekend
