Hey everyone. Okay so I am trying to do a BDSP shiny only run. I have been hunting for a while, and just can’t seem to find anything. I’m looking for a Shiny Shinx or Starly. I don’t really have anything good to give. If anyone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

After enduring the briefcase simulator and getting a shiny Chimchar, I wanted another shiny before the first gym. After getting some Poké balls, I’ve been in route 202 forever. I’m currently at 7125 encounters. Am I doing something wrong? Is this normal?
