I’m looking to become a professional organizer, but honestly I feel a bit lost on where to start. I’d love recommendations for courses that are actually worth it, YouTube channels, apps for managing clients or projects, books… anything that could help me learn and grow in this field.
Right now, I’m working as a helper for a high-end professional organizer. I’ve really been enjoying it and it made me realize this is something I want to pursue long term. She has given me some guidance, but it’s been more focused on how to assist her, not so much on how the business works or how to build my own client base.
My goal is to eventually have my own clients and maybe build my own business. I’m based in a county just outside NYC, so if anyone has tips specific to this area or market, that would be amazing too.
Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would really help. Thank you so much!
