Just curious as I assume a lot of us weren't around for the OG trilogy but were kids/young adults for the prequels.

Personally my family was basically totally oblivious to pop-culture so when I went to summer camp in 1999 a bunch of kids wanted to play 'light sabers' which I misheard as 'life savers' and declined to participate as I couldn't think of anything besides the candy or the donut-shaped flotation device on boats.

Later when I told my mom about my confusion she took me to Hollywood Video and we rented episodes 4-6 on VHS. It was a great time that I look back fondly on.
