So for context I'm trying to get an e bike so that I can commute a total of 30 miles each day to college and back home, with a back pack that weighs at most 30 pounds on top of my body weight of 180. The paths I can take are a combination of grass paths and side walks about 70% side walk tbh. I would be able to charge it every day after each ride so needing to charge it every day wouldn't bother me much (I have heard of e-bikes that have removable batteries that you can plug in and charge on the go that would also be ideal). Do you guys have any advice on the kind of e bike I should get with a budget of 800 to potentially 1000 dollars? I need something that can handle Texas terrain steep hills and all, and I need it to be reliable enough to last my 4 years of college with minimal repairs. Is this realistic, are there any cheaper options that are reliable enough for what I'm wanting to do? Thank you in advance guys!
