I scored a 507 on my first MCAT last summer (chem/phys: 125, cars: 128, bio/biochem: 127, psych/soc: 127). My ec's are not bad, with a few pubs on the way and some club leadership roles, plus volunteering with seniors and kids. GPA last time I checked was around 3.95 but will increase after this year. I feel kinda dispirited after not getting any interviews this year (Applying only to Canadian schools, BC IP). should I retake the MCAT this summer to try and get a better score? (p.s. whenever I share my ecs with people in med school, they tell me its sometimes down to the way I write my app, so i feel a bit lost on how to improve my app)
