I went to a tire shop to get a valve stem replaced as I believe it is the reason for my very random and sporadic air leak. I got it checked for punctures and there was none to be found. The guy at the shop said because of the level of wear he would not do it for safety reasons. I must be missing something here because the tire doesn't look that worn out to me but I'm probably wrong so can someone please explain if possible? He said on a scale from 1 to 10 my tires were a 2 in a danger zone.
