I completed my NotaryCam verification on April 16th (approved) and my ECFMG certification was issued on April 22nd. My status currently shows "Application Accepted" for the ECFMG one, it got updated immediately after my application submission. I had to wait for my CBSE results to ensure my school would forward my documents, but I've since gone onto FSMB and paid all the fees (24/04).
The problem is I still can't book because 1 haven't received my permit from ECFMG. It's been two weeks and they haven't sent the verification request to my medical school yet. I contacted FSMB and they said they sent my papers to ECFMG and they're waiting for them to answer.
Should I be concerned? Does it normally take this long? Ideally, I want to sit for Step 1 by the end of May, but am I being over-optimistic given the current delays? Any advice would be appreciated!
