How do you get the alternator to line up with the top bracket? I’ve got the bolt in the bottom but can’t, for the life of me, get it around the top bracket…I’ve tried a rubber mallet, I’ve tried hammering out that spacer or w/e that the bolt threads into to give more space.

I’m swapping engines and the new engine doesn’t have accessories so I’m swapping those over and it wasn’t so difficult to take it off the old engine…is there a different in the alternator brackets of the auto and manual engine because the he engine the alternator came off was from a manual g70 and it’s going on an engine from auto stinger (both 2019 2.0s)
