I recently was offered a position at the Greenville SC Lockheed Martin (LM) facility as a level I Production Hangar Avionics Technician. The starting pay is $20.23. Admittedly, I had hoped that it would be higher. I wasn't expecting anything crazy, but closer to the $23 range seems a bit more in line with the cost of living here for a low level position.

My question for current or former LM employees: what has growth looked like for you? Have you been able to move up or laterally within the company to good pay? How long did it take? Everything I've seen looks like LM encourages employee growth, but having some sort of timeline and/or tips for what that looks like would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance!
