I've been scrubbing through as many posts and recommendations as possible. I have been rocking a bagless stick vacuum for years and I would like to have something that works better. BUT I am pretty tight on finances, so I'd like something less than $200. As much as I would like a Miele or Sebo, it's just not feasible right now.
For reference, my apartment is 95% carpet. I've seen people recommend both for and against the standard Kenmore bagged upright 200 series and the commercial Oreck that are both less than $200 on Amazon. They were what I have been going back and forth on because they seem to be the simplest. And now today I looked into the Kenmore intuition as it seems to be more user friendly with more utilities and I found a post with a bunch of people recommending it despite the known hose issues.
Is there anyone who can give me some solid budget recommendations around $200 or less? And if the ones I mentioned are solid, is one of them better over the others? I'm fine to keep my junky stick to deal with crevices and upholstery if the plain Oreck or Kenmore are better choices than anything else for the price.
