UPDATE!! HE HAS COME HOME!!!

UPDATE: Hello everyone!! Danny has returned!! He is back, no cat trap necessary! I was sleeping on the couch, and woke up to him desperately squeezing himself through the bars of the pet gate I was using to keep my other boy inside while I had the door open for Dan.

He was freaked out for a second, but within five minutes went straight to the litter box, and is now asking for affection from me and allowing me to handle him like normal. The only evidence that he’s still freaked out is that he was hissing at his brother for the first time in his life. I closed him in their playpen for now and will be letting him calm down before essentially reintroducing them.

They will both be microchipped, and given tractive collars asap.

His name is Daniel, I call him both Daniel and Danny.

He got out of the house, panicked, and ran into the open field next to the abandoned house at [deleted].

Danny is an all black cat with random white hairs. He is only about a year old, and is a very sweet but dumb boy. He runs and hides like a black cat, and is very slippery when caught. He answers to his name, but doesn’t come to it unless he wants to. He loves tube treats, but loses interest in them when stressed, and tolerates but doesn’t like meeting new people. He was lost while wearing his collar, but is able to get out of it.

I have one of his carriers and a cat trap with food set up by the abandoned house. If you or someone you know sees a cat that fits his description, whether in one of the carriers or elsewhere, PLEASE message me.
