Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out projects.
Manage the full tender process (interpreting drawings, specs, and tender docs).
Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Collaborate with PMs, architects, and suppliers to determine material/labor costs.
Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value.
Oversee cost control and identify value engineering solutions.
Manage a team of estimators and review contractor claims.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
What they are looking for:
Experience: Minimum 7 years of proven experience in cost estimation for interior fit-out within the UAE/GCC.
Specialization: High-end finishes, bespoke joinery, custom furniture, and complex MEP services.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of local UAE/GCC market rates for materials and labor.
FF&E: Proven experience handling Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment costing.
Software: Proficient in estimation software and advanced MS Excel.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical risk assessment, and communication skills.
