I was fixing up my chain per a previous post and realized another clicking noise is coming from this thing just hanging around. Does anybody know what it does or where it’s supposed to be? Is it OK to just zip tie to somewhere so I can ride? Thanks!

As a new rider I got a 2016 KLR 650 and love it!! I wanted to take it to the beach today but heard some crazy clicking noises and found it’s coming from the chain. I have a video here and don’t know what exactly the issue can be? I heard the KLRs can be weird with too tight or too loose of a chain. Any guidance would be much appreciated :)
