I'm looking to buy some 1200 and 3000 grit powder. I have the Pandemonium sticks, but I feel like I'm going through the 3000 quickly and at $30 a tube, it feels expensive.

I can buy powder on Kingsley North. Do you think that would be a quality product or should I be looking elsewhere?

I really don't want to buy on Amazon unless im very confident in the quality; would hate to mess up a lap permanently.

I'm prepolishing with 3K on BATT and polish with 60K on BATT.

My prepolish lap used to be a 60K polish lap, if that matters.

I'm not sure if I'm getting an exceptional prepolish or if I'm not using enough magnification (3.5x visor plus 10x loupe), but I cannot see any difference.

Am I supposed to see a significant difference? 3K is leaving what appears to be a perfect mirror.

Photo is of a CZ I just finished prepolish on. I'll go to 60K, but I won't be able to see a difference.
