DCS Grill Starting Issues
I’ve had a DCS Series 9 grill for years. Since day one the glow plug style ignition system and been a real problem. Even in the beginning, I had to hold the knobs in for a long time to get the grill to light. Then took longer and longer. I tried adjusting all the clearances and openings for the gas to make sure that was set up right. I even had someone from the store where I bought it come out and adjust it. Nothing worked. I keep my grill very clean, by the way. When I called DCS they were unable to provide replacement parts because I did not have a serial number and couldn’t locate it. My Dealer was supposed to get them for me, but never did.
Other grills I’ve had could be lit with a match. This one cannot. I am about ready to throw it away and get another grill, but I hate to do that because I’ve invested in a rotisserie, griddle, etc.
Has anyone had any similar problems and found a solution?
