Class bookings- Zone B allowing for group fitness?

Hi everyone,

I was looking at booking classes and I found one to try out and it let me book it, but then I saw that other classes like Hot yoga, Hyrox(?), Regymn are all not included unless you had the top membership. When I saw that, I also saw that my basic membership doesn’t include group fitness (what I booked), but it still allowed me to book it. I’m now wondering if they’ll deny me when I go to check in for the class even thought it allowed me to book it. I tried to book hot yoga too to see if it’s just a system error but it didn’t allow me to book hot yoga.

Thanks for your help!

Binge eating still happens. Medication or life events?

Hi everyone,

Besides being diagnosed with ADHD, I also have BED and It seems my ADHD symptoms have become much better on 30mg, but my binge eating is becoming a problem again and it’s triggering my Bulimia. I started 30mg in January and it was fine while I was in school (BScN) but then it stopped working maybe two months into my semester for BED but I was still able to study really well and get good grades. With that though, my binge eating has been very bad and I’m gaining weight very noticeably. School is very stressful for me as I not only am in a very hard program, but I have an extremely sick father that’s in and out of the hospital waiting for a transplant of his liver. I don’t know if my doctor would consider upping my dose because the binge eating only happens during high stress which has been 24/7 for me because of my dad and all I do is worry about him, stay up crying, researching until I can’t think anymore. I just don’t know where to go from here or where I can get help for this. I can’t afford therapy and I don’t know where I go from here to get better. If there is something I want to eat, I go and eat until I feel sick.

I’m sorry if this is all over the place or doesn’t make sense, I’m just dumping all my thoughts out.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking into getting a gym coach as I have no idea what I’m doing, and want to use my time effectively while at the gym.

If you had a coach/trainer, where did you find them? I go to GoodLife but I’m a student and cannot afford $75 a session unfortunately.

My only other idea was spreading out two paid training session and just using what they taught me in future sessions by myself.

Thank you!

My dad has had many hospital stays to stabilize blood pressure, do drainings (4 now since last August but now refractory so it’s become more frequent), one episode of HE. Today I brought him to a new hospital as he has been getting terrible care and Bandaid solutions to his problems. I cried when I talked to my dad’s doctor because of the vast difference of care, and him acknowledging how bad the previous care has been. For example, he was sent home and forced out of the ER by an ER doctor who said that he barely does drainings and he should go to a GI doctor to do it and scared my dad so much my dad didn’t want him to do it and my dad had to return anyways to get it done, he hasn’t been able to get into the GI or Hepatologist almost a year after first hospitalization. The Hepatologist my dad was referred to never got back to him even after 3 ER doctors and our family doctor kept referring him, and the decided to try and get him into a GI doctor and the first appointment available was may 15th and that was booked in January.

My dads ER doctor and the doctor he has on the medical floor told me my dad is a “top tier candidate” given he has no other co-morbidities, doesn’t drink, and has his whole family at home.

I cried when he told me today that he is going to make sure the liver transplant referral is done during this hospitalization. I’m so relieved, even though I know there’s a long road ahead.

(I forgot to add his current hospitalization is because he needed to get drained and the pressure made my dad puke up everything he ate and drank. This causes a broken blood vessel (confirmed with endoscopy to be benign and not varices) and he probably has lower GI tract bleeding so his hemoglobin is low, and he was taking metformin and that was causing high lactate levels and he has been taken off and it fixed itself. He is now being stabilized for parenthesis and colonoscopy to confirm GI bleeding)
