I need some advice because I honestly don’t know how to feel right now.
I’m new on Carousell, and someone placed an order via COD. Her profile seemed legit, so I trusted her. I’m based in Luzon and she’s in Mindanao, so I really made an effort, I even traveled to the nearest city from my province just to ship the item and paid for the shipping fee upfront.
It’s already been 5 days since I sent the package.
Then this morning, she messaged me saying she won’t accept it because she got into an accident and she needed funds.
I feel really frustrated because I’ve already incurred expenses, and now I’ll have to pay again for the return shipping.
I’m asking her to at least cover the shipping fee, but I’m not sure if she will.
What do you think I should do in this situation?
I know this will be a lesson for me since I just started this venture. From this day on I will not accept COD.
