Here’s a long shot — I’m trying to find a Harry Potter fanfic. Harry accidentally does actual magic in a garden after he broke/knocked over a plant pot and got scared about getting in trouble. He realizes he caused it and starts teaching himself wandless magic before Hogwarts. He’s very smart, doesn’t get easily manipulated, and may lean gray/dark magically. He becomes friends with Draco.
I specifically remember a scene where Lucius says something along the lines of how that small moment of accidental magic created a butterfly effect that changed everything, and imagines what would’ve happened if it hadn’t occurred. I think Harry was sorted into either Slytherin or Ravenclaw. Does anyone know this fic?
