I will preface because i LOVE how my ring turned out, and I wonder if I am just nitpicking.
My fiancé and I had a custom ring created at a local jeweler, and I got engaged this weekend!!!! However, when I designing it, I specifically mentioned wanting claw prongs. This wasn’t reflected in the CAD, but since it is a finishing touch, the designer assured me it would be on the final ring.
I definitely think these prongs are round. I am wondering if I should bring the ring back in to have them adjust it. I do love the ring, and the thought of parting with it for a few days now makes me sad, but I find myself staring at the prongs.
Thoughts?
EDIT:
I emailed them this morning and they were super receptive, I’ll be bringing it in to have it fixed! Thanks all!!!
for those asking about my stone (I’m obsessed with it too): it’s a 3.10 carat E / VVS2 ideal cut round brilliant lab grown diamond. Depth is 61.2% and table is 58%
the side stones are rubies (my fiancé’s birth stone)
