I’m looking for an indie game I can put into a commercial arcade machine. I build custom bartop arcade cabinets that I sell locally. I have some friends that own several small mall arcades around here. Mostly claw and redemption style games, but also modern video arcade games like Jurassic park and Halo. They offered for me to put my bartop arcades in their 6 locations for sale. The cabinets will be PC based and internet connected so I can run or download games off Steam or itch.io. I would just put a MAME style emulator on it and run like 10,000 retro game roms on it but the trick is I need the game to be licensed for commercial use. They are on a card swipe system that is pay per play. So I’m looking for a game from a small indie developer that I can personally talk to for a licensing agreement. I’ve seen Killer Queen in action and am looking for something similar in game play. I looked at a couple games on Steam like Lethal League Blaze, Hot Shot Burn, Brawlhalla, and TowerFall Ascension. I think those games would work on arcade style controls (2 player, 8 way joysticks, 6 play buttons, start and select.) but I need help choosing a game that would be fun for a mall crowd to play 2 player competitive style, while also showcasing the cabinets itself for custom cabinet orders that the customer could later add their own emulators to later. The cabinet is a bartop style but it will be wall mounted at standup height.
