Best settings for Kirby and the forgotten land?

Hey,

I got an Ayn Thor Max and tried running Kirby and the forgotten land.

It went surprisingly ok from a first try, but frame rate often is stuttering. I would love a stable and solid 30fps+

Anyone who was able to tweak their settings to get that or is that simply not possible?

Greetings,

Espon

Hey everyone,

I’m considering picking up a Weber Searwood since I can get it for a really good price, but I have one main concern: **smoke flavor and usability when adding wood**.

Right now I’m using a Weber kettle, and honestly the thing I hate most is the process of adding wood during a cook. I have to:

* take the meat off

* remove the grill

* take out the water pan

* remove the diffuser plate

* add wood

* then put everything back together

It’s a hassle, especially during longer cooks.

With the Searwood, I’m looking at using something like the **Rollbox smoker box** to boost smoke flavor. But I’m worried I’ll end up in the same situation.

So for those who have experience with this setup:

* Can you **easily add wood to the Rollbox** mid-cook?

* Or do you still have to remove everything like on a kettle?

* How practical is it during a long smoke?

* How long does the wood actually last in the Rollbox per load?

* Are we talking ~30–45 minutes, an hour, or longer?

* How often do you realistically need to refill it during a cook?

* Does it actually improve smoke flavor enough to be worth the effort?

Basically trying to figure out if this setup is actually more “set and forget” or if I’m just trading one hassle for another? If so the campchef might be a better option for me, although it lacks in other things.

Would really appreciate real-world experiences.

Thanks!

Hey,

I’m seriously considering getting a Camp Chef pellet smoker (likely the Woodwind Pro 36), but I have one big concern: the app.

I’m on Android, and I’ve seen a lot of mixed feedback—some people say it works fine, others say it’s buggy or unreliable. Most of those comments are a bit older though, so I’m hoping for some recent experiences.

A few things I’d love to know:

  • How stable is the app right now?
  • Can you reliably monitor temps remotely (grill + probes)?
  • Can you change set temperatures from a distance without issues?
  • Does it disconnect often or require reconnecting?
  • Any major frustrations or has it improved over time?

I’m not expecting perfection—I just want something that actually works consistently for monitoring and basic control without being a headache.

Would really appreciate hearing how the app is in current condition.
