Just trying to take the top off of this camera so I can see why the coupled rangefinder isn't responding to the moving helicoid when focusing this Wester Autorol camera, but first I need to remove the viewfinder. Does anyone know what tool would be best for this job? "Lens filter wrenches" seem like they'd be good but the ones I can find are all too large! This viewfinder is only about 14 mm in diameter.

Recently purchased Nishida Wester Autorol's coupled rangefinder is not responding to the moving helicoid when focusing, so need to take the top off and take a look under the hood. (The glass is also just very dirty and needs a quick cleaning inside.)

That said, I've removed all 3 screws from the top's perimeter, but this dial/knob is keeping the top attached to the camera body. Taking off the actual dial did not help. There was also a knob of sorts screwed into the underside to hold in the film spool, but removing that didn't help either.

Does anyone know how to remove this screw that serves as the stem to the winding knob? There seems to be a ring around the base of the stem, with two small gaps on opposite sides of the screw. Would a small spanner be able to unscrew the stream from its base or something?
