Looks like I'm not the only one who feels this way but I just have to put it out there.. The Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred campaign/story is one of the most unbelievable and best stories Blizzard has ever created.

I just beat it and I haven't had this satisfied and and feeling of complete-ness from Blizzard since I beat Brood War waaaaaay back in the day. I'm a huge StarCraft fan but LotV just left me feeling completely confused.. Anyway.

I don't know if Blizzard is on some new kind of path or they just had the right formula in this team, but if this the direction Blizzard is going with their stories and gameplay, I feel like there is some small, tiny sliver of hope for this company.

Blizzard has done nothing but step of the balls of every fan from the 90s in the past 15 years and just having gone through that experience felt almost like I was playing a Blizzard game from my childhood.

Everything is so doom and gloom these days: game companies being greedy and screwing over fans, prices of everything skyrocketing, the general state of the world just going to shit, you name it. It feels weird and shocking to go through something that's actually good and decent. It's almost an alien feeling.

Lord of Hatred was great, well worth the $40 just for the story. The new classes are cool and the extra shit they added to keep you playing seems interesting (although I'll probably never get into that stuff. I'm happy with the single player things.)

Please Blizzard.. Stay on this path. And if you decide to bring SC back, don't fuck it up.
