Creating fonts
A few years ago I downloaded a font that I absolutely love and have used in just about all of my YouTube videos since, but it has always bugged me that it’s missing some letters with accents (that aren’t used in the English language, but are in for example the former Yugoslavian countries) so I wanted to create a new font out of it with those letters included for personal use only, so I don’t have to keep recreating those letters whenever I need them. I tried using Calligraphr, but it’s only letting me make so many letters for free and I’m not about to pay 10 euros for 1 font. I’ve got all of the letters I would need in an illustrator, is there an easy way I can create a font out of them (preferably for free) or if I were to make a font out of just those extra letters (which is less than the max on calligraphr) could I combine the two into one font?
I’ve never created an actual font before, so I’m really new to all of this. In the past I’ve just copy pasted what I needed as I only needed ever so often.
