Hi all, as per the title, as a Dad I'm lucky enough to have the amazing opportunity to be travelling to Indonesia with my 8yo daughter at the start of August. We have a stop over in Bali for a week but due leave on Thursday with a week to see Indonesia before we leave in the early hours of Friday morning from Jakarta.
My daughter loves animals of all kinds and I think it would be a great chance for her to see a temple too. Other than that we're fairly open to advice. Happy to island hop via boat or plane as long as she's safe. Our budget is moderate to decent.
I would appreciate some ideas on where to go, how long to stay, where to avoid, or a good travel guide. In my youth LP was a great source but I get the impression from this sub that it's gone downhill significantly since then.
