I bought a ROG Xbox Ally X yesterday at Best Buy and I am really happy with it so far. I installed Bazzite on it. Installing a few games now. Waiting on Forza Horizon 6 that's out next week for early access to try it on!
I reinstalled Bazzite earlier this morning since I had slow Wifi speeds on my Steam downloads but now it's fixed.

I ordered a Logitech G Cloud yesterday for $175 with tax and the carrying case on sale with a coupon code. I was reading more about it today and some people were talking about it breaking in 90 days. The $175 deal grabbed me but I wonder if I should get something else that's better.
I have a good gaming PC already but I wanted to be able to game in bed or other places instead of my desk sometimes.
I used a Legion Go S Z1E SteamOS last year and loved it but I needed the money at the time so I returned it.
The options I thought of:
Legion Go S Z1E SteamOS for $920 at Best Buy that's Open Box - Good
Xbox Ally X for $920 at Best Buy that's Open Box - Good
Odin 2 Portal Pro for $460 on Amazon
Some factors:
For a handheld I liked SteamOS a lot last year when I had the Legion Go S. I am a big tinkerer type of person too so configuring things would be fine for me.
Xbox Ally X has a stronger CPU but I read it's kind of finicky to install SteamOS and sometimes has issues.
The Odin route is an option since my gaming PC is good already and I could stream over Wifi 7 with my network. I'd use Apollo/Artemis on it.
I'm getting super excited for Forza Horizon 6 to come out in 10 days on the early access version so I've been playing some of the older Horizon games. Been playing FH4 lately. FH4 is my favorite FH game but I wonder if 6 will top that...
