Which car would be the best option for an off-roader?

I have plans on going for a road trip with a complete camping gear kit that I would gear up for off roads such as rough terrains and desert. I have been considering couple of 4x4s such as LC or 4Runner and 4Runners have amazing road presence especially with the face lift. However, as they are American imports don’t feel it to be reliable on Saudi roads. The other one LC happen to be the best but confused on which year to go for when it comes to an LC. My budget is roughly 100k. Please suggest which one would be the most reliable option when it comes to availability of parts and best in 4x4?

Why are the roads here bad? Even when there is plenty of oil wealth in this country?

It is really sad to see when a country has too much of wealth but the road system is bad. It’s a hurdle for daily commuters to travel around bus because of the limitations in stops around here. Everyone willing to travel around places has to rely on cabs which comes pricey and no proper transportation systems makes it a mess and since the beginning I’ve been hearing if you have to move around then license is the best possible way to get things moving is that. Hopefully things would change because of the vision 2030 and the current ruler seems to be a person who has that vision.

Best shawarma in khobar?

I have been eating out since day 1 of my visit here in Khobar. Very nice, cute city with lots of options for food especially the Arabic here is really good. Have been looking out for better shawarma joint and that’s where I encountered mama noura which is good as per me but my colleague who’s born and bought up in Bahrain said that it’s not close to what you get in Bahrain especially with the quantity you get there. However, I feel it’s not the quantity and it’s more to the quality. Where do you get an excellent shawarma that could be rated 5/5? Any suggestions?
