Hi guys,
I decided to bring home a baby sun conure, who I’ve had for two weeks now. He should be about 10 weeks old as of today, and when I got him two weeks ago he weighed 105 grams right after being fed. Today I brought him in for a two week checkup and he’s now only 85 grams with no food in his crop. I am concerned, and need to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I hand feed him 15ml of formula three times a day, and now they want me to do 10ml three times a day. He isn’t eating solid food yet, and I’m just really concerned. The only thing that might explain the weight loss is I might have been making the formula too runny. Please give me any advice you guys can, I really appreciate it!
