The Genius of Kianna Muramasa

The Genius of Kianna Muramasa

"... That's it! Of course. Meta-energy persists through time. If I accelerate through Meta-Energies instead of my normal speed, even within this time loop, I can theoretically outrun time. Outrun time... If I could outrun time, I can prevent this time loop from being created in the first place."

-Kianna Muramasa

~•~•

Faced with a big problem: being trapped in a Time Loop, Kianna had to once again, solve this problem with ingenuity. With her given abilities thus far, Kianna has no means to break through the Time Loop, so she has to improvise.

The way Kianna does it is by utilizing a personal "bubble" or field using Meta-Energies that she coats herself with, a mixture of Psi (Psychic energy), Vitalis (Life Energy or Chi) and Mana (Arcane energy, aka magic.)

Meta-energies aren't affected by space-time, as they transcend dimensions (spatial and temporal), even if the users are bound to space-time themselves. Kianna, knowing this, learns to utilize psi to allow her to remember through the time loop. She then uses a mix of Arcane Spells and Vitalis to store acceleration. Vitalis is used for the acceleration itself, and she makes a pseudo-spell whose mechanic is to simply store the acceleration done by her exerting her Vitalis.

Even if the time loop puts her back into her previous spatial and temporal position, her memories along with the stored acceleration through combined Meta-energy persists through the time loop, allowing her to accelerate further and further even as time snaps her back to a certain moment, until she completely "outruns" the time loop by traveling back to when it's created, and stopping the loop. Essentially, she's storing her acceleration through the meta energies, until she reaches level 7 Inaccessible speed, where she can essentially travel backwards in time through speed to the point that she arrives to the time before the loop was made.

Rae Update (what do you all think?)

If you've seen my other posts, you might know Raven Aurora, one of the four OCs of mine alongside Scarlett, Kianna, and Cobalt.

Here's what I added to her, and why this is important.

Rae's entire character stems from the idea of RPG power players who don't interact with the story, similar to the idea of Genocide Route in Undertale, or your average TTRPG murderhobo. As such, her character aims to explore and deconstruct how having that much power could affect one's psyche.

Indeed, alongside Scarlett, Kianna and Cobalt, she is a different exploration of the 'strongest' archetype.

What's new?

Alongside her Ice Magic, or Spellfrost list, Raven is now also an Esper, which means she has Psychic Powers. This allows for the new rules of Absolute Zero.

Absolute Zero, mechanically speaking, is a Certain Kill Arcane spell that causes a target the caster touches to have its temperature drop to absolute zero. It also acts as a nullification ability to ensure that the freeze happens.

What makes Rae's Absolute Zero different now?

Rae takes this a step further with her psychic energy. At all times, Rae has a psychic aura around her emanating. This psychic aura essentially stops anything that can be harmful to Rae, and nothing can get past it, this includes people (keep that in mind).

What's worse is that her psychic aura passively casts Absolute Zero, which means that she has a protective coating that triggers a Certain Kill Spell.

What about her new psychic powers?

Rae's major psychic powers are Telekinesis and Mind Break.

Her telekinesis is extremely powerful, displaying the ability to just flatten the entire Kingdom of Luminia with a motion of her hand in frustration. Aside from that, she can move objects, or crush them under their own weight. She can also move herself.

Mind Break is a Certain Kill Psychic single target ability, where Rae could overload someone's mind and just kill them that way. However, this is her less used Certain Kill because it leaves her vulnerable after, as her psychic barrier disappears after using Mind Break due to the amount of Psi (psychic energy) needed to use it.

Why the change?

Before, Rae essentially relied on her Absolute Zero to be invincible. But now, she essentially is a parody of a "Perfect Build RPG character with OP starting stats."

However, it also works better to deconstruct her trope compared to her old powerset.

She still retains Absolute Zero, and with the psychic barrier, its a metaphor for her closing herself off from the world, making sure that nothing can come close and hurt her anymore, because they'd all die before coming close to her.

Her Psychic Powers now strengthens her tragedy. She stops seeing people as people, but rather, as obstacles to her goal. This now numbs her to the idea of death and killing, leading to her cold demeanor and a general disregard to someone's life the moment her mind concludes that they're obstacles.

However, something about Rae that remains likeable in the sea of unlikeable personality, is that she deeply dislikes the idea of the weak unable to save themselves from Destiny. This shows in her saving innocent people from getting crushed by debris using her psychic powers. There is a glimpse of a Rae that can do good, but it's currently buried by her ruthlessness to get what she wants: To Find Pandora's Box, and wish to revive her dead family and restore the village that Queen Lumi destroyed.

Does she have any combat weaknesses?

In-verse, no. Why? That defeats the purpose of her deconstruction. She can't fully be desensitized if there's still something to fear. I like the idea of her not being capable of solving problems with her power set. Not everything can be solved with mindless ruthlessness and pragmatism.

This is why Rae does not have the ability to read minds, despite being an Esper. Because she intrinsically cannot connect to others, because she thinks she doesn't need to, hence, why she can't unlock the ability to read minds.

For all her power, Rae lacks what's necessary for her goals. Without anyone she could lean into, Rae will never find Pandora's Box.

Rae doesn't lack in pure strength. What she lacks is the power to make connections. And ironically, that's what she needs to find what she's looking for...

I'm So Lonely... (Scarlett vs Conquest stats comparison)

Second Strongest Viltrumite Vs The first successful X-Lilin prototype

Connections:

* Both are lonely outcasts from their kind (Scarlett lived in Solitude in the ruins of Shiddonia, Conquest lived alone on a Moon)

* Both are exceptional powerhouses (Scarlett is an X-Lilin, Conquest is the second strongest Viltrumite)

* Both are technically Superman variants (Scarlett was initially developed as a female evil Superman, Viltrumites are similar to evil versions of Kryptonians)

* Both are considered monstrous.

* Both initially didn't get names, only a title (Scarlet Demon, Conquest)

Just a collection of arts of Scarlett fighting random people from her story—

Yes, that includes her fighting the urge to eat Kianna's hair (she lost that one)

Tenebrix

Tenebrix is one of the major antagonists of the second arc of Scarlett Rose Chronicles. She an X-Lilin (hybrid) prototype before Scarlett, and she has... A lot of issues.

Tenebrix is one of the earlier prototypes capable of cognition, although her mind is incredibly fractured. She could think, and she could feel, but she's prone to berserk outrages because her Spirit Core is psychologically fractured.

Because of this incompleteness, Tenebrix yearns fusion. She wants to fuse with anyone that can "complete" her. She tried to fuse with Spirit Core Shards before, but they did nothing to make her feel more complete.

With this incompleteness, she also felt jealous of Scarlett, the first prototype to be completely functional. She expresses her growing hatred for Scarlett and her 'perfect' body, her perfect mind, and her perfect Spirit Core, while she gets to be hideous, incomplete, and monstrous. Fueled by this jealousy, Tenebrix lashes out and attacked...

I have been trying to put Ruby in jungle for a while, and of course, her biggest issue has got to be the clear speed.

However, with the recent advance server update buffing the base damage of her 1st skill, I think that would speed up her jungling. My idea so far is that she's a really good burst hero with good potential to gank because all her skills are cc (slow on 1st skill, and stun on second).

If anyone's on the advanced server, has anyone tried jungling Ruby? I can't really say for certain if she'd be a viable jungler even with these changes because her early game is still ass (especially with the weaker early lifesteal)—

Here's a fun lore drop of Scarlett's early life in Shiddonia! Hope you all enjoy!

---

Before there was a Scarlet Demon

(A short story about Scarlett's early life in Shiddonia)

She was lost.

The woman moved through the dense, shadowed undergrowth of Shiddonia’s ancient ruins, now overtaken by vegetation and life, her black wrapped boots silent on the moss-covered earth. She had existed for only a week, perhaps two, but time meant nothing to her, not yet at least. She had no name, no memories, no understanding of the world beyond the constant, gnawing certainty that she was in danger.

The canopy above was so thick it devoured sunlight, leaving the forest floor in perpetual twilight. Every shadow seemed alive. Every snapped twig or rustle of leaves made her wary. She didn’t know why she was here. She only knew she had to keep moving.

Then the beast stepped out from the darkness.

It was massive, nearly ten feet tall at the shoulder, with a powerful, hunched frame covered in feathers of black and white. It was a monstrous raptor. Its jaws bristled with sharp teeth, and a long, bladed tail moved behind it ever so slowly. Its crimson eyes locked onto her with cold intelligence. It didn’t roar. It simply watched, circling slowly, assessing its prey.

She backed away one careful step at a time. Her body, still new, still learning, tensed with instincts she didn’t understand.

Without warning, the creature lunged.

Its jaws opened wide, ready to clamp down into her. On instinct, she stopped its bite, holding its jaws open with her hands. Agony exploded through her hands as teeth pierced through flesh and crushed bone. But she held on. Black boots dug into the soil.

Something inside her began to resonate.

Muscle fibers multiplied. Bones knit back together immediately as they break. Dense bone plating erupted from beneath her skin, reinforcing her arms like armor. Energy she didn't yet understand surged through her arms, increasing her strength twice, then three times what she had moments before. With a savage cry she slammed the beast’s head into the ground, cratering the earth beneath its weight.

The monster shrieked in fury.

It retaliated instantly, slashing her right shoulder with razor claws. Flesh tore away, and more bones fractured. She staggered as its bladed tail whipped around like a scythe, smashing her through several thick tree trunks. Wood splintered. Pain blinded her.

Yet even as she hit the ground, her body was already healing.

Torn muscle regrew in seconds. Shattered bones realigned. The wounds sealed, leaving only faint scars that faded as fresh bone plating burst through her skin. The damage only made her stronger.

Her eyes began to glow.

The beast sensed the shift. For the first time, hesitation flickered in its glowing red gaze.

BOOM.

Twin beams of scarlet light erupted from her eyes, surging to the creature’s torso. The force hurled it backward through rock and foliage, carving a smoking trench through the forest, before hitting a cliff face. She charged after it in a wild, almost feral lunge, power flooding her limbs. She tackled the beast through the cliff, digging through stone, gravel, and soil, before exploding out the other side in a shower of stone and dust.

She pinned it down, pressing it through the soil. The monster thrashed wildly, kicking her off with a desperate surge of strength before scrambling away into the trees, bleeding and terrified.

Panting, she rose to her feet.

Blood dripped from her hands as she pulled the last embedded tooth free, the wounds closing almost instantly. The bone plating that had armored her cracked and crumbled away like old chitin, shattering to the ground. She stared at the destruction around her—the shattered trees, the scorched earth, the trail of the fleeing monster.

This was how it had been since the moment she came into existence.

Fight. Adapt. Survive.

And the Ruins of Shiddon was already learning to fear her.

I've shared quite a few of my characters as well as some of their powers and parts of their overall stories in this sub

As well as do some interactions and match-up debates. Those are pretty fun!

So, with that in mind, which of my characters do you guys know/remember, and which one is your favorite and the most disliked one? Why?
