Struggling with Linkedin engagement

I have 500 or so connections but any post about my newsletter hardly gets any engagement. I write all of them myself, so no AI slop there.

Mine is a newsletter catering to the Indian tech ecosystem. I’ve tried value posts (unique story), social proof posts (100 subs), or even building up to my next edition. Nothing seems to be working.

Some other post of mine blew up, and got me a few (4-5 subs) but nothing apart from that.

Any tips?

I have 157 subscribers atm, with a 40% open rate. Someone with similar stats open to collaborating? I’ll feature your newsletter in mine and you can do likewise.

My niche is AI news catered to the Indian tech ecosystem.

I run Mailr - 3x a week AI news filtered with an India lens. I’m sure there’s an audience for this, especially in the Indian tech community. But the growth has now stalled. Raced to 120 subs in 3 weeks but has stagnated recently.

I’m posting on Linkedin thrice a week, have put money into Meta ads, tried Google ads briefly. Cold emailing every founder/ VC/ PM i can find on hunter.io

After the initial growth spike, it seems to have plateaued. Suggestions for anything more I can do?

Basically the title: made a post on LinkedIn on another project I’m working on. It blew up. And since I had maintained my newsletter in my bio, got organic sign ups from there.

Recently started an India-based newsletter called Mailr - AI news filtered from an Indian lens.

It is an AI-powered workflow based in n8n. I had to use Kit because Behiiv gives API keys in their enterprise plan only. The last step in my workflow is sending the approved draft from n8n to Beehiiv/ Kit. And this is where the latter was flexible even in the free plan.

I want to ultimately migrate to Beehiiv because of its inbuilt revenue opportunities.

Anyone experienced something similar? How do I solve this issue of mine?

I live in Mumbai and as you know it is DENSELY populated. I run a newsletter about AI for the Indian tech community but i was thinking of unique ways to advertise it.

Where I work is a heavy footfall area and especially the railway station near it. It has a majority IT crowd, and I could easily get a few thousand eyeballs in a few hours. I was thinking I could put up a simple banner with a QR code taking them to my landing page.

Suggestions?
