I just bought a house (in the winter) and I’ve noticed the decking is not aligned, causing the skirt board to be warped. With these fasteners, is it as simple as loosening the fastener on each side, then rubber mallet the board until it’s flush and retighten? Or how can I adjust these?

Unsure of the exact manufacturer.
