It was about a protagonist fighting monsters with black tentacles around their faces. The monsters looked like normal people to others, in one scene the protagonist saw them acting as guards for the president on TV. The protagonist used a knife I believe, and in the final scene he uses guns as he's been surrounded.

I realize this isn't much to go off, but I can't remember much else. I think it was read on a youtube channel, maybe creepsmcpasta but I can't find it on that channel. Thankful for any help!
